Originally from Tauranga, Andrea followed her husband Robert Haycock to the sunny Eastern Bay of Plenty in 2009 and has been hooked to the Eastern Bay ever since.
As a school leaver Andrea followed her passion to become an artist, studying at the Waikato Institute of Technology (WINTEC) in Hamilton from 2004 to 2007. She completed a Bachelor of Media Arts degree with Honours majoring in painting and sculpture but soon realised that you need a bread and butter job to pay for the materials to create modern art.
She continued to upskill studying Business Administration at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic completing Level 2 and 3 certificates. After spending a decade in retail Andrea joined Hamertons in 2012 and has been a Legal Secretary for seven years. After studying extramurally at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology and gaining the Diploma in Legal Executive Studies she became a Registered Legal Executive in 2020 and is now an Affiliate Member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.
Up for a challenge with a can-do attitude Andrea strives to achieve results and primarily assists Director Jude Wilson with Conveyancing, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Estates.
Out of the office Andrea enjoys spending time with hubby Robert and two children Corey and Sophie. Andrea is always keen for an adventure whether its bike riding with the family or getting amongst nature tramping in the native bush or at the local beaches. She also enjoys renovating and maintaining her property, and of course spending lazy Sundays in her art studio painting up a storm.
