Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act:

Is a family member or someone you care about having difficulty managing their own affairs due to ill health? Our experienced team are able to assist you in obtaining the necessary Welfare or Property Orders to allow you to assist that person in managing their affairs when they are unable to do so themselves.  Our team realises that this is a difficult time for you and your family and are able to manage your case with not only expertise but respect and empathy.

Angela heads Hamertons’ Family Law team.  Angela studied law at Waikato University and then moved to Whakatane to commence practise as a Family Lawyer in 2005.

Heather Tucker

Lawyer

Heather joined Hamertons in August 2014 after moving to Ohope from Auckland. Heather graduated from the University of Auckland in 2010 with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and also holds a Commerce degree from the same University.  She was admitted to the Bar in August 2011.

Nicole Gordon

Lawyer

Nicole joined the Hamertons Team in July 2016.  Nicole graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts Conjoint in 2011 and was admitted to the Bar in March 2012.  After graduating Nicole worked for a number of years in various Specialist Tribunals within the Ministry of Justice.

Gemma Benge

Lawyer

Gemma was born and raised in Ohope Beach and attended Whakatane High School. Gemma spent five years in Wellington, where she graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts. Following this, Gemma joined Hamertons Lawyers in January 2016. Gemma was admitted to the Bar in the Auckland High Court in September 2016.
