Robert Chappell

Robert has been at the coal face of Hamertons since 1957, firstly as a Law Clerk and registration/searching agent during study at Auckland University, followed by a period as a Solicitor at Hamertons, and from 1963 onwards, as a partner in the firm until 2003. 

Robert is now a Consultant mostly involved in Trusts, Estates, Commercial and rural transactions.  Out of work interests over the past 50 years include participation in rugby, soccer, hockey, squash, cricket and golf – (active participation in sport now confined to golf), membership of the Edgecumbe Choir and involvement in the Hepatitis Foundation of New Zealand as the initial chairman and more lately as one the local trustees.
