Lisa Ebbers


Lisa joined the Hamertons litigation team in 2014.  She was admitted to the Bar at the Hamilton High Court in 2011, and following admission went on to complete her Master’s in Law at The University of Waikato in 2012.  Lisa spent 2 years working in the District Court and Family Court environments in Palmerston North and Tauranga, before moving to Whakatane in 2014.  Lisa has also held an in-house legal role in Wellington.

Always up for a challenge, Lisa enjoys assisting clients, no matter what the issue. 

Lisa is a member of the NZLS Waikato/BOP Women in Law Association,  she is an organiser of the successful Hamertons Whakatane Charity Fishing Tournament committee, and also volunteers her time to various other community based causes.

Raised in Tauranga, Lisa is happy to be back home in the Bay of Plenty.  She enjoys spending time with family, socialising with friends and getting out and about in some of New Zealand’s beautiful scenery. 

As well as servicing her own growing client base Lisa regularly assists Steve Franklin and Angela Kershaw with criminal, transport, family and general litigation files.
